    First Race this Season

I did a duathlon on Saturday, it was awesome. I didn't wear a watch, it was just a training race, I just wanted to see how it felt. The timing company had messed up my time, at 27 hrs, 37 min, 41 sec . It was a sprint distance. While they were handing out awards, I went to the van and asked them to figure it out. Glad I went then, I place 1st in my division, and 3rd in my age group. Very pleased.

Wow, Jen- congratulations on a FANTASTIC race!!!!!
1st in your division and 3rd AG??? INCREDIBLE!!!!! (but you must be very tired after a 27 hour event )

It's always nice to get the first one "in the bag" so you can move on and focus on the A races.

    Congrats again!!! pictures....?

Yes, I am still running for another 4 hours, I'll let you know how I do LOL! Sadly, it was a very small event, so there are no pic's. I had decided to do it the night before and DH had to help a buddy move.

    Thanks

It is so great to get that first one done, so you can kind of gauge your training. Way to go......
