wired vs wireless bike computers - help please

    Hi

was wondering if any of you had experience with both of these. I want to upgrade my computer and was looking at wireless. Only problem is, I am not sure if they would be affected by electric surges that appear to occur as I ride past electric train stations and a power grid. My Polar HRM is affected by them, but not my wired bike computer.

yes, they are affected by those kinds of interference. Suddenly it displays that you are riding 60mph!

At least that would make your average look really good.

Actually just put a wireless one on my road bike today. It was much easier and neater than dealing with the wires on a different one I had previously.

So how often do you ladies see those surges? Does it really mess with your average speed?

Sorry...just really excited about my new computer and am hoping it works the way I want it to!
