    Where's the 4/2 ride thread?

    Oh, Here it is!!!

I'm too excited about my ride yesterday to not post about it! I did my first century of the year, my second ever.

It was gorgeous weather and since I didn't get one in last week at the beach I wanted to try for it.

I set out fairly early and followed a club path that I've followed before, knowing that I could turn back if I felt like it. The sky was cloudless and BEEE-autiful blue. The fields were all colors of green and yellow. REdbuds, lilacs, daffidils, little purple flowers, even the dandilions were charming Ahhhhhhh!!!!! Spring has sprung!!

I took lots of breaks, but still maintained a 15 average. total miles for the day 102.

Nice job Silver on your century!!!!!

Yeah! I had my second ride of year today. I ran 5.25 miles then jumped on the bike for a 39 miler. Couldn't resist with the weather sooo nice...I am training for a 1/2 marathon on April 21rst so I only have so much time ...but I miss my bike rides. Last year I was riding 70 milers by now so I feel behind. I wish I just did a century!

Good for you training for a 1/2 marathon! I'm supposed to be training for a triathlon.....but my running stinks this year and my swimming always stinks! So I find that I want to ride because it feels so good!
