Cover worn bike seat

Have you ever had to replace the fabric cover on a bicycle seat?

If so, how did you firmly attach the fabric to the hard vinyl underside?

Have you ever used one of those bicycle seat covers, including gel covers?

Gel covers cause more problems that they cure with chafing. I think if your seat is so worn as to need a new cover, it's probably time to get a new and more comfortable one.
