    Brooks Womens Leather

Saddle Survey Response posted to forums by Administrator:

I use a Brooks Womens Leather saddle on my touring bike. I love it. It was not as hard to break in as people said....

Around town, I run on a Terry Womens saddle that is quite comfy.

Smile Love my Brooks saddles too!

I'm real keen on my Brooks saddles too - the measurements of my Team Professional S and Champion Flyer S were pretty close to the Women's O2Air as I recall and that's the saddle that I liked the most before Brooks. No extended break-in period for me - pop it on the seat post and ride! - Robin

    Smile saddle selection

I ride the Terry Liborator and love it! I use it for x-country and urban riding.

    Brooks

I bought the Finesse and am trying to break it in. From the start, it was comfortable on my "sit bones" but not on the perineal area. It is rubbing me raw down there! Do you recommend tilting it downward at the nose? Is there anything else I could do?

I have the Brooks Finesse on both my tandem and my road bike. I'll put one on my mountain bike too if I start to seriously ride it again. On the tandem I have it angeled down just a little bit. On my road bike the nose actually goes up a bit. I prefer the feel of it on Fluffy (my road bike) I tend to slide forward a bit on the tandem. I just haven't gotten around to adjusting it on the tandem. It's the first saddle I could actually feel my sit bones on. So is it the saddle or could it be your shorts?

We are thinking of getting Brooks B67 on our touring bikes...what do you think? I definitely do not have a small a**! Oh yeah, I prefer a pretty upright riding position.

I have the Brooks Finesse on our tandem and on my Rivendell. It's very comfortable and did not seem to need breaking in. I've put some long days in on both and have had no problems.
