    Thumbs up New bars!!

I promised pics of my Salsa Pocos and shimmed brake levers, so here they are. They should be clickable to see larger.

Make sure you click on the 3rd one to see my pretty tape!!

Yes they are. I rode 44 miles on them today. I'm going to tilt them down a tiny bit from what you see in the picture to give a little more room for hand positions. Very nifty bars.

SB--I got the short and shallows on my new bike and LOVE them. I'm wishing I had them on my old bike. It looks like the Poco is even shorter. You must have really tiny hands! I did not have to shim my levers or anything and love that I can easily reach the thumb shifter from the drops.

The thing I really noticed about them is that they seem to guide my hand a little differently (in a good way). I used to have to consciously think about keeping my wrists straight but didn't even think about it on my ride today.

I have short stubby fingers. So that really effects my reach to the levers in the drops. On the old bars, it pretty much eliminated it. I'm having to retrain my brain now that I'm can brake from there.
