    Question Camelbaks

i am a horseback rider but i use a camelbak at the barn since it keeps me drinking. i just got a new camelbak today, it is this one here http://www.e-omc.com/catalog/product...Bak-Dream.html. this is my second camelbak. my first camelbak is a '05 charm model. who here uses a camelbak and what do you like and dislike about them. i personally like everything about mine.

    lol

i love my camelback. it may seem annoying to have a backpack of water, but i hate reaching down for a water bottle. it's easier to just sip and keep ridin'

Has anyone tried the waist pouch one? I have arthritis in my left shoulder and as a new rider I don't want that extra pressure and poundage on my collar bones. But I don't always feel comfortable reaching down to grab my bottle and drink either.

I was looking at the waist pouch one last night called a catalyst; but it only holds about 28 ounces. That is ok, as I would just refill on our rest stops that seem to be about every 10 miles. (Training for a century ride.)

Any comments? I like the idea of a camel back...but just don't think I can handle the extra weight on my shoulders. How do you all feel about this? How does the weight effect you or your riding?

    Thanks,
I just keep telling myself..."I am the Tortise; slow and steady finishes the race." I am the Tortise, coo coo ca choo.
