Perhaps I've missed this, but I haven't seen anyone reference this blog and, given this is a women's forum, given that there are some long-distance riders here, and given that, well, I think he makes a valid point, I thought some of you might be interested.
This comes from Lon Haldeman's blog (a fun blog to read, btw) concerning the failure of Susan Notoragelo to be recognized by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Sure, he is her husband, and might be a bit biased, but....Care to write a letter?
