I desperately need new clothes and shoes for work - but what am I surfing for online - all the new cute bike stuff.

I did my taxes, got a wee little bit of a refund. Do I save it? No, instead I decide to splurge on a wickie wear stubby bandana. I can so justify it.

My house is desperately in need of a cleaning. I have to grocery shop and I have an event to be at tonight after work. But its gloriously sunny and beautiful today, the snow has even melted in the valley. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out if I can put anything off. Why? So after work I can go home, grab my bike of the trainer and go for a ride of course!

To the world I'm a bit strange, pathetic even. To my fellow TE ladies, I am perfectly normal!

Isn't it wonderful that we are no longer in the deep freeze and that we can actually see the blue sky? I guess we have to enjoy it while we have it, since predictions are for the "haze" to return No, you are not pathetic, just an enthused cyclist !!!!

Weather finally warmed up here, and yesterday did a nice loop with my friend of 38 miles. The last 8 miles, I had 5# of fruits and vegies stuffed in my trunk after a stop at the fruit stand!

I rarely buy work clothes! I just can't do it. But I dropped $55 fast for the 'Party Pardee' jersey for the metric I signed up for a couple of days ago. So cute! Pic of the dam we ride over that had piano keys over it, and this awesome green for the sky. How could a girl resist?

Yep - you seem perfectly normal to me! It's all in the priorities. I wish I could get out too. We've got about the same weather you do in Salt Lake sounds like - it's been so cold and today in the 50's WOW. I'm stuck inside though and have tennis lesson right after work so I guess no riding for me.

I didn't get a chance to ride yesterday. But I did manage to run outside on the parkway for just over an hour. The haze wasn't at all bad where I live. I could actually breathe. Sigh - I know the snow and rain will be back and I'm ok with that. At least this one tempting day has managed to wipe away some of my cabin fever. I actually smiled during my jog - and I hate running!

I should check out the DI again. I'm just "uber" tall and none of the pants ever fit me. But biking has definitely made me a huge clearance shopper.

I shop at Savers. I have picked up some awesome work clothes there. I have been riding indoors and am anxious to get out and about. I got a fun "Where the Wild Things Are" bike jersey at the Primal Wear factory outlet for $30. Not work clothes, but something kinda fun.

You should! So many of the things I try on are TOO LONG, which means that they may work for you!!! Lots of flowy skirts, though, and decent blouses/shirts. It just takes a long time to sift through everything...and some days are better than others.

I need new shoes to Usher at church, but I spent all my "allowance" at the REI sale, jerseys 16.97, shorts 29.99, couldn't pass up an armful of that stuff could I. I'll have to get shoes at payless, I suppose.. Hehe

I am always glad that I can go down to the nearest thrift shop--Goodwill, DI, Value Village, and the oddball 'Thrift Shop" in Kent (I have no idea what the real name is--it's just off Central on East Meeker), and buy ALL my work clothes there.

Leaves me with much more money for more important things. Bikes. Mortgage payments. Charities.

Not to mention that due to my passion for old steel bikes, I've gotten my Nishiki Prestige and a couple of really nice donor bikes at the thrifts.

My only complaint about DI is that they are not open Sunday. But that's when I go shopping!
