    Dh?

Pardon me if I'm asking something that seems obvious to everyone, but...

I must have missed something somewhere. What does "DH" mean? I've figured out it's your significant other, but what do the letters stand for?

Dear Husband...but my version is sometimes...designated husband...don't know why, but anytime someone writes DH, that is what I think of.....

I've assumed it means "Dear Hubby" but in my mind it always reads "Designated Hitter".

Thanks. I was coming up with stuff like "dearest honey" and "da homey". I think I have a mental block against "husband".

I use it to stand for Dear Husband.
