We went on a 14 mile ride today averaging 12.7mph.
I kept up with her like I've never been able to before...although her superior conditioning was obvious as I tired on the last half of the ride.

I feel GOOD
Now, maybe I'll start leaving the seat up!

I'm happy you did so much better today. And you need to understand that the following statement is simply a gut reaction to the comment you made about leaving the seat up.
I bet Silver was holding back to make you feel better.
