    Dec 5th Friday Rides

Yay!...I finally got my bike back fixed after 6 lost days!
Got in my FIRST ride of the new year, am so happy about it.
Made my very first little log entry on Bikejournal....21 miles for TeamEstrogen.

It was very windy today, dark and drizzley- but weirdly warm, 55 degreesF. What is UP with this weather this winter?? High of 65 tomorrow, and again 50 on Sunday? I thought this was January...
I was able to dress lightly and not wear my heavy boots. It felt so GOOD to be back on my bike again, with a bare neck and open jacket in the breeze. (Hey and I heard BikingMomof3/Jennifer is back on her bike on a trainer, great news!!)

I just read that the weather is going to change over there soon.
You just left me in the dust, there's no way I could stay on the bike that long in the basement. Keep chugging away there.

Here in Seattle if we wait for "good" weather we don't get to ride, but this windy rain stuff is just too much.

You shouldn't have said anything i didn't notice that it said December until you mentioned it.

    Bwah!

I just came back from a quick ride - given that it's the 5th of January and I live in MA, it is amazing that I did this ride in SHORTS! We hit a high of 65 here today, and supposed to do at least that tomorrow....

    Global warming SUCKS .

Drizzley here... but I wanted to just keep on riding because it was just so nice. Since I didn't get that feeling on my noon errand, I think it's because in the morning there was NO WIND either.

Reasonably nice commute... dropped by bike shop for tube since I used one yesterday ... then rode to restaurant for bike club Friday dining.
