Thumbs up Hubby Just Signed Up For First Tri!!!

Ok, can you tell by the ALL CAPS in the title that I'm UBER excited?!!
I have been wanting him to take the plunge for YEARS and finally he did it!!!
He emerged from the potty tonight with my copy of triathlete in hand ( sorry I know TMI- and YES I am a READER!! ) opened to the Wildflower ad. He was wondering if I thought he could handle the mtn. bike tri. Boy howdy did I jump on that one!!!
I got him signed up before he could change his mind. So next year while I am recovering from round two at IMAZ, I'll play the role of tri sherpa. And man, I can't wait!!!
YAY!!!!! We are finally going to be a TRI FAMILY!!!!!
Thanks for indulging me, I just had to share my joy!

That's so awesome! Congrats, that's a great victory. Maybe I'll start planting magazine issues in the bathroom... I think there might be a Runner's World in there, but that's a big leap (heh). Maybe I need a "Just Try it with Me Once! (And I Promise You'll Like it)" magazine.

    YEE HAW!!!
That's awesome, RM!!! You KNOW once he tries it, he'll be hooked, so now you can do tris together. Yippee! I'm doing the happy dance with you (now I just have to take your advice and get my DH on board- although he told me he is planning to try one next season).

    Hip hip hooray!!!!

    No motorhome...

    UGH! I wish!!
I've wanted to get one of those tent trailers tho, so I may just do that. Or maybe we could rent one for the weekend??
I HATE tent camping!! HATE it, I'm a spoiled little chicky poo, but I figured I could bite the bullet this time. but of course if given the option....

Anyhoo, it would be WAY cool if you gus were there too! I'm defintely not racing tho since I'll only be a few weeks post IMAZ.
    Cool beans!

    WAHOOOOO!!!

How wonderful! I'm so happy for Tony and for you! So what *is* the mtb tri? How long, what kind of swim, bike, run, etc? Wildflower seems like such a blast. I may get there some year, but it's pretty darned far away from the eastern edge of the great plains.

    Looking forward to stories!!!
