"Keep plugging along. The finish line is getting closer with every step. When you see it, you won't remember that you are hurting, that anything has gone wrong, or just how slow or fast you are.
You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."
-- Michael Pate, "When Big Boys Tri"
I've only done it once, and I don't recommend it.![]()
As far as having bikes in bed, I'm not so sure that's a good idea either. When I was 17 I repacked a hub on top of the white bedspread in my room, and my mom still talks about it. It seemed sensible to me at the time. If my mom didn't like it, it was her fault for buying a white bedspread.![]()

hubby came home from Italy yesterday and oddly, he was a bit put out about the bike being in the bedroom. Eh, go figure...
I quite like having the bike(s) in the bedroom. You can look at the bike, look at your beloved, look at the other bike again...![]()

my bike's in my bedroom too. but i am poor and rent a room in someone's house, and i cant sleep if i dont know my bike is safe. there is a huge dog door in the garage and i am paranoid about someone stealing my beloved Edward. (yes, my bike is a boy) plus, i get to stare at my bike all the time. he is so handsome.
(notice the only word i bothered to capitalize is the bike's name lol!)
