    Yeaah, I think Levi was foaming at the mouth thinking he was going to be team leader. I was surprised CSC/Riis dropped Basso even AFTER he was cleared to ride the Giro di Lombardia (a great showing by Bettini in case anyone missed it). But you know that no one would stop Discovery from going after him if he beame a free agent.

    From the way Basso put away the Giro d'Italia field, I can't see anyone stopping him next year. He's too good all around. Valverde? Sastre? I just don't think they're in the same league.
