    Lightbulb small size balaclava

I've been wanting a balaclava ever since last winter when I kept freezing my face while walking 3 miles every day in the frigid temps to get fit.
But I have a really small head for a woman. 99% of all women's hats are too big for me. Every balaclava I've seen looks huge.
Last week I tried on a big name brand balaclava in a very good shoe store- the lady said "It will fit you, don't worry, it's "Unisex, One Size Fits All""...what a joke! I put it on in front of her to show her, and she could see I was SWIMMING in it. I could have gone spelunking inside it! Might as well have worn a flannel pillowcase over my head with two holes cut out to look through.
A friend of mine who is clothing-savvy and petite then told me she got hold of her son's child size balaclava and it fit her perfectly. That clued me in and the light bulb came on.

So I went to our handy-dandy TE shop and ordered the Louis Garneau JUNIOR balaclava:

It came today (like the next day of course) and it fits PERFECTLY.
I really like it because it's soft and thin and will fit under my helmet along with my smartwool thin merino helmet liner too. Between those two items my head is going to be superwarm no matter what the wind chill.
The balaclava is nice because i can either wear it with the hole around my whole face, or I can pull it up to cover either just my chin, or my chin and mouth, or my chin mouth and nose too. It also covers most of my forehead and much of my cheeks. But it's sleek and non-bulky and feels silky. Too cool. Thanks TE for carrying it for us frustrated "micro-heads"!! Our teeny heads get just as cold as the Big Heads!
