    September 15th rides

I didn't have a lot of time tonight after work for a ride, so I decided just to do a quick ride to Montague. Well, this week the town had done some paving and I had such nice smooth roads to ride on. I decided to do some sprints and got up to 27.3 on one of the flats! I didn't maintain it for very long but sooo cool for me! I did 17 miles with an avg of 16.8.

    Commuted today.
Left work early to ride up to my chiropractor's office for a back massage and adjustment. Ahhhhhhh!!!
But when I left an hour later, it was raining! Booooo......
It was just a light rain - didn't even wet the sidewalks under the tree canopy. But it made me wish I had worn those new knickers I picked up at the Evil Empire (a.k.a. Performance) last night and perhaps a jacket. Brrrr....
    14.5 miles at 13.5 mph.

Still raining most of today (4th day in a row).
But I did at least manage to zip out to town on my bike to pick up some bread and granola and have a really QUICK single latte. Then more storm clouds moved in and I quickly headed back home up the hill. Well, it's something at least! And tomorrow's weather report looks better. If it's not rainging, DH and I will bike in for breakfast and do a ride before heading home again. Can't wait for a good ride, i miss it!
