    Vintage 1975 Peugeot UE-18 Mixte

Classic and Vintage 1975 Peugeot UE-18 Mixte frame bike.

This was the touring special model with lights and fenders. It is essentially original. This was my mother’s bike. As she’s 84, she’s not ridden it in some time.

    Frame is 20 1/2 inches or 52cm.

It has braze-on for generator wiring, as well as for cables and pump. The generator is not original, as it is marked Schwinn. To my knowledge, it works, but no guarantees on the wiring, which should be replaced.

The bike needs general servicing. Tires are decent, one basically new. With general servicing and a bit of attention, this very classic bicycle will be a beauty.

$100. If shipping is desired, I’ll need to inquire at the LBS for packing and standard shipping charges. Local pick-up in Manhattan, Kansas, is preferred.

This is posted on the CL for Manhattan, Kansas, but the mash-up search engine doesn't seem to find it.

There's one just like this on CL that I'm going to take a look at today. I've always wanted a vintage mixte since I first saw photos of them on The Mixte Gallery website (it's like porn to me). If it fits, I'm bringing it home with me.
