Just want to say "hey" from Northwest Missouri.
After some starts and stops the last couple of years, things finally clicked this summer. I've been averaging 40 - 70 miles a week on my vintage Nishiki that I bought at a garage sale for $5.00.![]()
In just a few short hours (I should be sleeping right now!) I am driving to Kansas City to pick up my new 2011 Trek 2.1. I am too excited to sleep.
I enjoy this forum a lot!

Enjoy your new bike! I ride a 2010 Trek 1.1 WSD and absolutely love it (who cares if it's the cheapest road bike Trek makes?) I predict you'll be riding a lot more once you have the new one, especially the beautiful fall weather that's approaching!

Welcome! I'm by Jefferson City. You should consider the Mo. bike federation fall ride. I can't go but several other TE'ers are. And I want pics too.

yup, I'll be there! I'm now in northeast Missouri...we moved 90 miles straight north from central Mo, but since Missouri bends, that puts us in northeast Mo. Welcome to TE!

ahh!! the new bike is amazing. I had to hurry home so I could get a ride in before dark. I'll post a picture soon
I am seriously thinking about coming down for the ride on Oct. 16. I think it's about a 4 hour drive from where I live. Have to see if I can work it out...

My husband and I will be there! The Fall Foliage ride is usually our last big group ride of the season. Look for the Pinkinator (my bike is a pink Trek) and say hi!
