    KG, sweet of you to not let on that I didn't actually win the race - someone else won the first prize when he finished his 2500 in May, and I was drawn from the rest of the finishing pack. I finished tenth or something.

    Hey LPH, I think everyone who made the 2500 miles is a winner and you are the lucky one to have your name drawn. Once I was hurt in October, I didn't have any real hope to do those last 600km so I am content to have ridden 700km further than last year. For awhile I thought I might be lucky enough to have been the top rider who didn't quite make 2500 miles...
