You know, if it was any other weekend I would have been there!! That is the weekend of my husbands 40th b-day bash in Vegas!
    MAN!
I have friends in Villa Rica and I was just telling her today that I wanted to come for a visit. And while I'm out there I want to meet the family. paige (Jennys sister) tells me I HAVE to have Sunday lunch with them.
    Bummer!

That's the day before Six Gap. I wonder if BF would go over there with me. I hope we have the shirts by then.

    Nanci,

I know some folks were concerned that it's the day before 6-Gap, but realize that this is going to be a conversational-pace ride, so it's probably gonna be fine as a warmup, shake-down ride before 6-Gap.

    Hope to see ya there,

    Leslie

That's my DH's birthday, but I don't think he would mind sharing his day with Jenny. I think we'll be there.

Oh, I wasn't worried about it wearing me out for Six Gap- never even thought of that! I was just amazed that I'd actually be relatively close to it on that weekend, _because_ it was the day before Six Gap.

    Any Aussies?

Are there any Aussies who want to do this ride at the same time as me? Might be difficult to match the US time, but we could pick a time we could all be riding at the same time downunder?

Ben and I will be at The Tri-State Seacoast Century on September 23, 2006, and we will honor Jenny's memory that day.

Hopefully the t-shirts will be ready so that we can wear them on our ride.

    Peace & Love to All,

I'll be doing my IM on Sept. 23rd, but will dedicate my 112 mile ride to her memory (hoping I get the shirt in so I can wear it that day). I sooooo wish I could be there, seeing as how I have family in the area, and it would be such a great event to be a part of. My thoughts will be with you all on that day!
