    First Ride.

I did my first ride today in years. On my brand new bike that I picked up today. It's the Pilot 1.2 WSD. I debated the 2.1 but couldn't spring for it in the end with all the other stuff you gotta buy nowadays. OMG, biking shorts and helmet are enough to put you in the poor house. I sure don't need those shorts yet but got them for the day I hopefully will.

I think I did two miles. lol

    Hey, it's a start.

    Way to go Esther!
    Isn't it a great feeling!?!?!

Looking forward to seeing you round the boards!

Congrats. I agree with you about the expense. I have to have those shorts for my fat butt thought. I get sore sitting on that little seat without that padding. LOL

Good for you Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

    It IS a blast .

I have to agree, the shorts (IMO), make all the difference... (that, and a shirt to wick away the sweat )...

    Have a great day, Esther!

2 miles is a great start!

    Esther,

2 miles is ALOT more than the person next door sitting there watching tv with a bag of potato chips in their hand. It's an awesome start!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Then each time you ride, it'll be a little bit farther. Before you know it you'll be doing 20 miles without even realizing it!!!!
