    Pedaling - Proper foot placement

Is there such a thing as proper foot placement when pedaling? I try to keep the ball of my foot on the pedal as opposed to the instep.

That's it. Just make sure you're not pointing your toes down at the bottom of your stroke, and you're good to go!

I feel more comfortable slightly behind the ball of my foot, but not to the instep. Kinda 1/2 on the ball of my foot. So I was pleased when on the cyclefitcentre.com site, that was recommended.

    Has anybody else found this?

Thanks for the cyclefitcentre.com site. I have always questioned my cleat placement - now I know I can move it with positive results.

Ur Welcome. I have much less trouble with numb toes this way.
