AAAA Panick! In a moment of madness, I signed up. Now I really do have to go through with this, not just talk about it. So now what do I do? I suppose just keep pedalling....

No progress has been made on a TE UK get together. Seems they are either mountain bikers or too far away. But never say never.....

It's not madness, it'll be great. I've made an executive decision and as soon as I get a rider rep will ask to have a Team Amici Veloci number. We can have a site for team donations but more important....we can have our tents in a block so we can actually ....drum roll....find each other easily instead of text messaging "I heard her tent is over there..."

Do it! Don't be afraid! I am slow and my skills have much to be desired. But I did it! It was a personal goal for me. I am going to do this in 2007, and I don't know where I'll be living or how much money I'll have, but I'm going to do this. Once I have my new number I will let you all know.

    ACG,

it would be so cool to see you on the ride and to have some TE'ers there.

The first time I rode I didn't know anyone on the ride (the guy I work with who was supposed to be there went into surgery the night before ) but I had a blast. Tentmate was a total stranger, we got on great. Next year tented with the amazing BG from TE.

Will you be be forming a team with your church again (sounded like there was some trouble in Paradise on that front last year ) or wouldja want to do the AV thang?

I think all we do is someone (I really don't care who) asks their rider rep to establish a Team number and voila, we have a team number.

    I've started inquiries.

I rode alc5 alone, the church group weren't riders. They left after me, then sagged most days. I met the greatest people while riding, so I never felt alone.

All the TE gals should try to hook up before the ride, we have time to plan I assume.I am hoping to get some of my local friends to ride too!
