Which distance are you doing? I am doing the metric century or 62 miles.

as of this time, I'll be doing the 100. I've been off the bike for a while and this would be my first century so I'm leaving the door open on the metric.

tprevost, the north end of the century course is a 20 mile loop that uses the same rest stop twice. You can always start the century and then leave out that loop if you want.

Century for me too she says in a nervous voice. Now weather gods all I need is some decent weather to train in and I might actually manage it.

Thanks SadieKate! I'm going to work really hard to do that 100 but its good to know there's an "out"! I'm constantly amazed that you know SO much about so many things and places in relation to biking! WOW!

Trekhawk - I'm with you - now that I can actually attempt to get on my bike... its raining! Not like what you've been getting, but because I'm so paranoid at this point it doesn't take much to keep me off the bike. I've scheduled "laddered" length events between now and then (the last being a 68 miler 5/16) so I hope to be okay!

I finally did it-- finally got enough money put aside to sign up for LRRH. So I'm signed up for 62 miler as of today. I'm so excited.

Same as her. I've never ridden my bike in Whydaho before and since Whydahoans are honorary Utahns, I'd better do the 100.
