I've been working at being able to get into this for weeks. Something clicked today and I was finally able to find my ankles.

Cool! I also had a yoga breakthrough today....handstand! Well, I got into with the aide of my teacher, but once up, I actually got my feet away from the wall and balanced for a couple of breaths.

Next challenge, a wide stance forward fold with Namaste hands behind my back. Strength and balance I've got - flexibility - not so much.

This is the first morning in a long time that I have not had my knee be rather stiff. I'm trying to figure out what's in this new video I got that my knee likes.

I spent a lot of time in this pose, because it was new for me and I wanted Thom to look at it and see if I was getting it right.

Yay! Yoga breakthroughs are pretty great. It takes patience and dedication but once you get there it feels so good. I had a couple of poses I just couldn't do when I started taking power yoga and when I got them it felt like a click to me, too. Congrats!
