    Party Pardee 4/1/06

Who's riding this year? I need to make up my mind before it fills up. I really liked it last year. The climbing makes it a great training ride for launching into a century.

It's a fun ride. I'd like to do it again.

How much climbing are we talking for this one?
The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

I can't remember exactally, but not much. I think the only climbs are up the dams. And those are short. There are a bunch of little rolly climbs but nothing lung busting. In other words, nothing like you have around there where you live.

I remember the more challenging aspects of the ride being some of the other riders. It's pretty flat and fast so you get lots of agressive paceline action going on. Once of the best marked and "managed" organized rides I've been on, though.
