Looking for a new wheel set!

Okay Ladies, after about 35,000 miles on my 2007 Mavic Ksyrium ES wheelset, I'm due for a replacement. I weigh in at 115 pounds. Most of my rides are 70-100 feet per mile of climbing. I'm shopping in the $1000 - $1500 range for the set. Something as good as or better than the Mavics. Looking for snappy but stable climbers wheels. I'm not interested in carbon. I need something low profile since I get blown around a lot.

    Advice?

You could get a nice custom wheel set for under $1k from a local shop. You could also check Wheelbuilder.com -- I got a custom rear Zipp 101 from them (laced to a PowerTap), they have good customer support and are very helpful. From my local bike shop, I got a wheel set with HED Belgium+ rims, Sapim CX-ray spokes, and White Industries T11 hubs (which now come in several colors... only black and silver when I ordered), which are my training tires for the cross bike. Love them.
