    Cycling Socks?

I've heard of some weird specialist socks, but never thought cycling ones would be made. Turns out, they're not actually that bad as long as they are lightweight. Just received mine from Sock Mine and am giving them a trial run later to see how they get on compared to normal ankle socks as i have previously wore. Anyone else use specialist cycle socks or is it just me?

Um, not sure what you mean: are you talking about socks made specifically for cycling? Or is "specialist " a brand? I've been buying cycle specific socks for years and have a drawer full. I have everything from c
Flowers that color coordinate with my bike to little yellow duckies to crazy sayings. Buying socks is a great way to support bike shops when you travel.

Welcome to TE Joanne. I'm not sure of the brand you're a fan of or work for. I'm sure they are fine. DOE know that there's a sock sale going on right now on TE? See right above me where it says "click to shop". 4 smartwool socks for the price of 3.

I <3 Smartwool and quirky socks from my LBS and rides.

I remember having some cycling socks years ago. They are more padded in the instep and forefoot because that is where the pressure is.
Now I just were some wigwam wool blend. I am always surprised how wet me socks get but my feet never feel damp.
