    Finishing the year with a bang...

    I did the annual 200k ride today that I've been doing since I started riding three years ago. But today was particularly special because not only was I totally out of shape (had not ridden anything longer than 40 miles since mid-October, and only three rides this month), I was also celebrating the end of my first trimester. I'm pretty amazed at myself for pulling it off, considering how tired and crappy I felt for the last week of November and the first half of December - but I'm back now, and plan to keep riding until I can't fit on the bike anymore! (Or until I'm too worried about road riding towards the end of the third trimester, which is why my husband bought me an indoor trainer for Christmas)
