I WANT TO RIDE MY BIKE!!!! I had planned to this evening, I love riding in my favorite park in the heat, but THIS forecast is causing me to rethink things. Hopefully tomorrow night will work better - and frankly as little as I've been riding I don't know that my body is ready for a 90+ degree ride just yet.

I've got the song from Queen in my head now.

Hope the weather turns around soon so you can ride.

We always seem to get the tail end of these storms; rain and more rain. While it's not severe, as in tornadoes, it has precluded riding.

be careful and ease into riding in the heat. After two weeks pretty much off the bike except for the Little Red and a couple of slow casual rides, I did my first 90 degree ride ( yes high humidity and the usual 15-20 mph winds) and managed 40 miles- I might have managed another 10 miles but I was out of water (two bottles in 2 hours) and was unwilling to buy any. I am still feeling somewhat wiped and I have been in the ac since I got home.

It can sneak up on you.

Catrin, same here. If all is well tomorrow morning, I think I'll ride before work.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

We're at the time of the year where riding must start by 6AM and be back no later than 9AM. When it is really hot, landing on the pavement can result in burns. Welcome to Arizona. Ugh.
To train a dog, you must be more interesting than dirt.
