    HELP! Second Thougts?

Hi everyone, I am new to TE and riding. Need some input from you awesome ladies. I recently,(last week), purchased a 2011 Ruby Comp from a woman who only rode the bike once. And then it sat in her study for a year. She paid $2500.00 for it and the MSRP was $2700.00. I paid $1800.00. I have found buying a bike to be a very challenging thing, fun but challenging. I was really drawn to the Ruby, test drove a few different brands and it felt the best. Seems like there are as many opinions as there are types of bikes. I went to three different shops and they all fit me as a 44, I am only 5'1 1/2", I like my new bike, but after I got it did some research and think I may have paid too much. When it first came out in 2011 it was listed for $2700, I paid $1800, for Look clip pedals, a computer and two specialized water bottle cages. It has Fulcrum Racing 6 wheels and is fully Shimano 105, brakes, derailleurs and cassettes. Sorry to be such a pain but you know the ole second thoughts come up and I wonder if I could have gotten a 2012 for the same price because the 2013 are about to come out. And maybe with Sram Apex, tho I hear the Shimano 105 are very similar in quality. Can anyone chime in? Not that it matters to much cause the deal is done... thank you very much for hearing me out. I was an avid rider in my youth, I am 55 and enjoying riding again. Here are the specs on the bike except it is a beautiful white.

You posted in a couple of threads and I already replied so don't want to reiterate myself. Basically, yes if you add up the components plus the wheels (which I didn't count for in my last reply) then you got a pretty sweet deal on an amazing bike. Happy riding!

nottoospecial, be happy with your bike - You got a great bike! I've got a Ruby Comp myself, paid quite a bit more than you if that makes you feel better . I just went out and got new Lake pedals last night so I obviously agree with what you got! NOW GET OUT THERE and ENJOY it! RIDE! STOP your doubts now.

SFLiz, you are so right. Thank you! By the way what does the SF stand for? Oh I see it's San Francisco! I live in San Luis Obispo. We are lucky we live in an area where we can ride year round!
