Finally! MRI results are in on my knee..

And it's a complete ACL tear, pretty much the entire joint is stress fractured, Medial meniscus slightly detached from the bone, Oh yeah, and a sprained ankle to boot... Surgery is scheduled for 10/25 with 2-4 physical therapy sessions before so I know what to do afterwards.

The good news? The Dr. recommended cycling as a form of exercise to keep the joint mobile until surgery. Yay!

Hoo boy. Glad you at least get some bike time - hope the surgery and recovery go very well!

Thank You Catrin and Oakleaf. As long as I can get some biking in during the last nice months of the season I'm happy. The timing is perfect; the Dr. said it will be a 6 month recovery which will take it through winter here in Minnesota, and put me ready to go for spring cycling

At least if it had to happen, the knee was gracious enough to have good timing
