Where do you keep your bike?

As I await the arrival of The Bike (happydancehappydance), I'm wondering where everyone puts their bikes. Where do you keep yours?

In my garage, which sometimes gets some water in it and which I can lock, except when it's inside on my trainer. (It helps not to have a car

I live in a condo. My bike hangs on a Minoura bike tower (Topeak has a similar one) in the spare bedroom.

My Klein sits in my entryway. I ride it the most. My Lemond is in our den. My hybrid, mountain bike, dh's commuter that he does not commute on, and dd's bike are in a mini barn. We ride those only a few times a week and they will be hung up in that barn once cold weather hits for good. My Klein will go to the basement for the winter. It is never banished to the barn. . I'll ride the Lemond over the winter.

    Ummm....everywhere?

The commuters are on the back enclosed porch/mudroom. The mountain bikes are in the garage, and the road bikes are in the basement. Between DH and I, we have a lot of bikes....

Mine lives in the living room. I have a 1br apartment--it takes up the space that normal people would put a couch in. I'm trying to figure out where I'd put the hypothetical (right now) MTB and new roadie...

In a separate little building that is really a gardening shed, except that it matches my house. I guess the person that built this house was into gardening, but the first thing we said we said when we saw the house was, "Oh look, a little house for our bikes!" Right now, there's just 4 in there, but at one time there were 7 or 8. In the dead of winter, my Kuota comes into the house and goes up in our loft, on the trainer. If it's nice enough to ride outside, I ride my Guru, with wider tires.

My husband's Trek 5500 and my Specialized Sirrus stand next to each other in our living room in our small condo. I'm glad to read that other people have bikes in their living rooms, too.

We spent the better part of yesterday rearranging the garage, finding a good place for the bike. I'm looking for good gear to arrange the bikes, especially if we attempt to resurrect dh's old bike ('cause we can ride together once again!).

Where do you keep your bike?

We just added on to our garage and it will have a dedicated bike area for 8 bikes.

When motorhoming, the road bike is broken down and put in a compartment. Pita. The hybrid sits outside with a bag over the seat. Wish I had a better system. Probably eight months a year this is the routine. Sometimes I am lazy and leave the road bike outside, which isn't a great idea.

In summer when we are at home base for a month or so the road bike sits in the spare bedroom and other bikes in the "shop" part of the garage.

In shoulder seasons bikes are in the garage of our condo.

There is a total of 5 bikes in my home + my girlfriend is getting a new Hybrid in a few weeks. I keep me Roadie in my room ...the commuter by the patio door in a corner and the other 3 in a deposit/storage room by the kitchen big enough for the 3. There is an extra room upstair that I keep for when my Mother comes visit... She is not coming anytime soon so I was thinking on putting the roadie and the hybrid and all the accesories ...helmets ,bags ,hydration packs etc etc in that room , planning on gettin a trainer as well for the winter . Not sure yet though.

Both of my bikes live in my bedroom, though if I am planning on a ride the next day I will often bring out the appropriate bike to the living room where there is better light to air the tires and so forth. It also makes me smile to see either of them in my living room ready to go, quite enticing I do have a trainer for the winter and that will be set up in the living room.
