Does anyone have this bike? I have been looking at it in my lbs for awhile and now it's gone on sale. All I have been riding is a mountain bike and I don't want a "regular" road bike since I live down 4 miles of gravel roads before I get to blacktop...this one seems like I can ride it down those gravel roads then jump on the blacktop. My mountain bike is really not comfortable on the road.

Everyone that I have talked to that has an FX loves it for the type of riding they do. Meaning, they have no intention of racing on it, just around the city and on bike paths.

If you decide to purchase one keep in mind that there is a recall on the seat post clamp on some of the 2012 FX models. You will want make sure the dealer has taken care of this issue prior to leaving the store with it.

I think I am going to test ride at lunch. I only have a MTB right now and it really is not good on the road. I don't plan on road racing, just some road rides for amusement around town and possible commuting.

I bought it. I test rode it and loved it. I zoomed all over the downtown area and along the bike path. I didn't want to get off, but I had to. It's sitting in my office right now. I'm looking at it and wanting to be outside riding.

Yay! Glad you're loving your new bike. I started off with an FX. That was five bikes ago though. It can get addictive!!!
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Glad you got it. Mine is a 7.2 FX WSD, 2008. I wish she had disc brakes. Otherwise I'm happy with her.

Here is an awful photo taken with my cell phone in my office. I rode this one last night rather than my MTB bike. Whew. Need to remember that this one does not have suspension and cannot bunny hop curbs.
