    Buying a new Road bike!!!!

HI Everyone! I'm writing to see if there are any other tall woman out there and want to know what you ride. I'm 5'9 with a 33 inseam, long arms and a short torso. Currently I'm riding a mens old lotus with 27 in tires. I'm new to riding but have been commuting about a 100 miles a week and I'm training for a 100k in March. I would really love to find a bike that would allow me to ride comfortably for 50-100miles. Would love to hear any imput! Thanks so much!!!!

    Cheers from AZ

I'm also short-torso'ed (but shorter than you, at 5'6.75") and the Specialized Ruby or Roubaix (the men's version) might work. Trek Madone WSD (or the Lexa) in a 56. Jamis...the Femme goes up to a 54 only, but like Muirenn said, check out the men's versions.
I'm riding a Giant at the moment, a M (corresponds roughly to a 50cm, according to them), and it's long for me. You could probably ride it with no problem.

At your height, you could probably get away with men's road bikes, provided the top tube is a little on the short side. If steel appeals, try looking at a Surly Pacer. Surly's top tubes are a little long, but you might be able to get away with it. I should be able to (though haven't been able to test this) with a smaller size.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Also look at Felt. They have the Z series (men's bikes) and the WZ series which is the women specific line. Then they have the F series (no women specific version of it). I recently bought an F 5 and love, love, love it. Mine's a 48cm. I'm a good bit shorter then you, 5'0" and have short legs with a longer torso. I personally felt a bit cramped on the Lexa and Dolce.

Same height and inseam here. I bought a Trek Madone wsd in July. Love it. I also rode a Specialized Dolce that seemed to fit. Enjoy!

I am only 5'6 but extremely short torso'ed and long legs.

I have a Ridley Noah RS and love it. I would definitely recommend trying one!
