I was out riding in Yamhill county yesterday and there were a lot of bikes out I noticed! It was a great day for a ride, but a hot one! We rode 65 miles and loved every bit of it!

Okay, it's Sunday and expected to be around 90 degrees. So we're having:
1. The Portland Triathalon.
2. The Portland Century (also includes a 70 and 33 mile ride, along with the 100 miles).
3. Giro Di Portland Criterium Races in the Pearl as part of an annual Italian festival!
Are we sporty or what???!!!

Oh nice. That's a long ride. We walked from PSU over to the Pearl to watch the Criterium and it was exciting. After the women started and completed a couple of laps one racer crashed and after a few neutral laps in order for her to get medical assistance, they decided to entirely re-start the women's race. She rode too! The course was apparently considered highly technical because of the cobblestones in part and the turns.
Do you typically ride the rural roads? I'm too scared to do that. Good for you.
