    Ghost story

Ok, not the kind of ghost you might have thought of.

One year ago today this little guy moved in permanently with us. Ghost, like Hunter, had been abandoned by his owners. He was so thin when he showed up on one of the porches of our building.

He never really got along well with Hunter but they managed to work out a bit of a truce. He totally stayed away from him the night Hunter died.

Ghost loves to antagonize Chloe by swatting her muzzle and getting her to chase him (which she willingly complies with!)

He won't drink water from a bowl; it must be from the bathroom sink faucet so that is set to a trickle when I leave for work.

Here he is doing a great job of leaving cat hair all over my sheets.

aWWW, how cute! Kitty Calypso has managed to teach my friend that's vacationing here how to set the bathroom tap to drip for her. But I admit, for water conservation, I don't leave it dripping for very long.

I went back & forth on the faucet but since it's been so hot & humid here, and he won't drink from a bowl, I wanted to make sure he had something. I put a small Tupperware type container just under the trickle, just in case he decides that water from containers isn't so bad. I put whatever has accumulated into Chloe's bowl when I get home.

Ahh- where's the fun in that? It is ever so much more fun to leave your owner standing there tapping his or her toe and waiting for the cat to finish getting a drink, usually while you are trying to brush your teeth and leave.

marni- another 2 cats in the way in the sink every time I come into any bathroom or the kitchen owner.
