    Bee's!

I have ridden through more swarms of bee's this spring! Anyone else?

no thankfully, the last time I rode and got hit by bees, one got caught in side my jersey and stung me in a most unfortunate and outward protruding point of the mammary system.

couldn't stand to wear a bra for weeks afterwards.

OUCH! My whole body curled into a ball when I read that Marni. I had a bee fly into my helmet but was able to pull over and get it out.

Not bees, thankfully, but more assorted bugs flying in my mouth and the mouth of riders with me! UGH! But at least not painful .

This is why I spent far too much for an Uvex helmet - it has a bug guard for the vents in the front half of the helmet.

Last year I rode by 2 bee farms and I felt like I entered a bee crosswalk. Yikes! I rode by a bee farm last weekend but I guess they weren't active.

I'm in the west San Fernando Valley (Woodland Hills), and usually ride in Agoura or in the Santa Monica Mountains just up the street from me.
