    To disable ads, please log-in.

FS: Topeak MTX trunk bag EX-for use with a Topeak QR Beam rack system. (Rack is not included.) The bottom of the bag slides on the rack's runner and snaps in place.

Dimensions are 14" L (including release tab) X 6.5" W X & 7" H. It has a large main compartment with an inner pocket, zippered mesh side pockets and bungee on top. Reflective strip in rear. It can be hand-carried with the sturdy handles-or use the shoulder strap. Excellent condition.

I've upgraded to a larger version with panniers and no longer need this bag. $35 -including shipping.

BTW- I have this bag and I *LOVE* it. I have the rack, too. You'll need the MTX rack to use the bag, tho, as there is no velcro to attach it to another kind of rack.
It's really a great, versatile bag!

Actually, the bag does have Velcro straps in the corners (as does my newer bag), but they may just be for additional support.

I will try to attach photos...

oops- my apologies. My bag doesn't have velcro straps. I didn't know that they did- would be helpful. Now I'm jealous.

I have the same one you are buying. How do you keep it from being so noisy on the bike when you don't have anything in it?

I'm now offering my QR beam seatpost rack along with the MTX trunk bag. (Originally I was planning to just buy the side panels for the rack but have decided to purchase a free-standing Topeak rack and make it a permanent fixture on my bike. Price for both the bag and the rack is $50-including shipping to the lower 48 states. Any interest?
