After 8 days off the bike due to continuous commitments and lousy weather, THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON WAS TOTALLY WRONG...and I got out for a fun, windy, HILLY club ride tonight!
Two hills peaked at greater than 20% grade.
Inertia is a difficult thing to overcome...and I almost succumbed to it tonight!

Mr. Bloom, I already knew you have more hills there than here since I've been on a ride down there - but seeing that this way, all I can say is WOW!
Tell me about that inertia, the tornado watch last night almost got me out of riding - but I didn't let it, granted, I just took my Jamis to the park across the street so was never more than a few miles from my car just in case... but I rode it![]()
Oh I know those roads Mr BloomOne of my FAVORITE places in Indiana to ride. Maybe we should hook up and ride sometime! I'm already recruiting Catrin as my Indy riding buddy, lol! I'm coming back to Indy next week.
I dunno Catrin, I think you should just play hooky and lets go on a cycling weekend. Come to think of it we may need to ride 'the high ground' just to stay dry from the way it sounds. I dunno about you but riding in SCUBA gear doesn't sound appealing, lol. Enough rain already!
