    Hello everyone

    Just thought I'd make my first post and say hello to you all!

    I had a great cycle into work this morning as it's lovely and sunny here today in London, so looking forward to my 12 mile ride home in the sunshine

    I do a mixture of road cycling and mountain biking, and commute to work on my hardtail mtb as the roads in London are awful, I'm not sure my road bike would like it very much....!!

    My first love is getting out on the trails though, went on a lovely ride last Saturday over the Surrey Downs, great fun!

    So, hello again and looking forward to joining in the fun!

    Welcome! We spent 3 weeks in england and 1 week in London. The roads are so narrow compared to the Midwest USA Enjoy the beautiful ride home

    Hello and welcome! It is such a beautiful day today isn't it, hopefully it will last for a few more days.

    I'm in Wiltshire, I learned to ride last summer and am now doing the nursery run with a trailer most days.

    Good to see some fellow bike nuts in the UK as well!!

    And yes, I did enjoy the ride home this afternoon in the sunshine, despite the usual and frequent PAM's (pothole avoidance manouveres), loony white van man drivers (one of whom thought it would be really funny to scream at me as he drove past, just for the hell of it ) and of course, not forgetting the dreaded licensed cab drivers, those of you who ever cycle through London will know exactly what I mean!!

    Anyway, enough of the rant! Thanks again girls....
