Just got word that my SIL and hubby in League City are under mandatory evac orders for Thursday morning. My thoughts are with all of you. Stay safe.

I'll be following events at www.noaa.org.

Thanks SadieKate. We are keeping a close eye on the progress of the storm. We will head out of town if the storm makes a B-line directly to Houston.

My sister and many friends began their evacuation of Galveston Island yesterday, and I have never watched the weather channel so much in my life...

Any and all of you down there stay safe, this thing looks as if it will be a whopper- unfortunately.

SIL and hubby are safe in College Station now near their boys. Hopefully, they're in the clear now. I was glad to hear that they chose to leave earlier than expected as the roads north through Houston are apparently a solid jam of vehicles.

Hoping everyone gets out soon and safely.

man, this is another bad one... mother nature certainly has her drawers in a wad for some reason...

hope you'll all take precautions and be safe...
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
