Wasn't it GORGEOUS?! I hope everyone here in the pacific northwest was outside enjoying it because this coming weekend doesn't look as nice as the one we just had.
I got two great rides in. Saturday and Sunday were great. Both with the club and through some scenic wonderful places. Reality is back . . . back to work this morning. But perhaps a nice short ride after work?![]()
PLEASE tell me I wasn't the only one who rode on this wonderful weekend we just had! It can't be so! Yea, there were 33 people on yesterday's ride and yes there were 30 guys and only 3 women BUT you guys rode, right? So let's hear your ride report.
Saturday's ride along Orting Trail. At South Prairie jumped off trail onto road to Buckley. Out and back total miles 46.
Scholz farm between Sumner and Orting. Lots of folks in the fields searching for that perfect pumpkin.
Sunday's ride which started from Kent Station. Went to Black Diamond Bakery and back. After ride we all went to the RAM for food and drink! Fun!
Black Diamond Bakery. It was packed!

I was tempted to ride with the other group that ended at the RAM, but it was chilly when I woke and the drive to kent from Everett seemed a bit far. Besides, I had a bad fall earlier in the week and blackened my hip, cranked out my neck and loosened a tooth. I'm feeling fragile...
I did go out for a low key ride through the fallen leaves here at home. It was a lovely day and many others were out walking and riding. I really didn't want to get off the bike.

Aloha Millie, it's Mount Rainier and the trail is one of my favorite ones to ride on. We are currently having some really beautiful weather and I'm trying to get as many rides in as I can before our wet, gloomy, gray winter weather starts. If it gets really bad maybe I can talk my husband into a visit to Hawaii?I would love to see the sunrise on top of Haleakala and then take a wild ride down from the summit. A friend of mine did it a few years ago and loved it.
Laura I'm sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you heal quickly. But at least you did get out and enjoy the nice weather we had. I couldn't believe all the cyclists I saw this weekend. They were out in droves! Too bad our weather outlook for this weekend is going to be 180 degrees of what we had the past two days. We western Washingtonians have to be opportunist this time of year, taking what we can when we can . . . nice weather to ride in that is.![]()
There would be worse places to visit than Maui over winter.....
great photos and I'm envious of your glorious autumn weather![]()
