Who uses the Polar GPS sensor?

I am now seriously considering this. What was holding me back was having something on my arm - thought it might bother me to have something on my arm, thought about the weird tan mark. But I see so many people out there with something on their arm that it is making me re-think this. Any experiences with this?

On the bike, I usually put it in my jersey pocket, bento box, or camelbak (though sometimes the camelbak seems to get worse reception, maybe because my cell phone is in there too). Wearing it on my arm doesn't really bother me, either, but it's nice to have other places to put it. For the bike, I mostly use it to measure my route and how heart rate and speed and distance line up, I use my bike computer to show me current speed and distance.

When I'm running, I put it in my shorts pocket, or on my arm if I've got long sleeves on (I don't need another seam to chafe against with short sleeves ). For running, I use it to measure everything.

Thanks for that - I do have a Bento box and that would be a perfect place for it.

I dropped it in my jersey pocket today and while the unit had satellites the whole time it looks like the wrist unit disconnected from it about 5 miles into my 45 mile ride. So, maybe the jersey pocket to wrist unit in aero position is too far from the GPS sensor, too. Bento would be perfect.
