Anyone out there riding a Ridley? DH is looking at a 2010 Ridley Excalibur and is curious what others think about these Belgium made bikes.

I looked at Ridleys briefly in my recent bike search but didn't give them too much attention once it became clear that their sizing didn't run small enough for me. But from what little research I did, I remember mostly very positive reviews. I don't personally know anyone who rides the Excalibur model, but one of my teammate's husbands recently bought a Ridley Noah and he absolutely loves it.

I ride a Ridley 'cross bike, and L-O-V-E it! It is much lighter than my former 'cross bike (a Specialized TriCross), and with a shorter top tube, makes the control of the bike in tight corners much better.

These bikes do run on the LARGE side. I typically run a 54, but am on a 52 Ridley, and it fits great.

Good luck to DH. Sorry that this is 'cross-specific.
