thanks... hubby took it last summer in Oregon... he made me ride slow through the lava for the shot. (Sparks lake trail in Bend)

Heh, what Elizabeth said about accesorizing!! I could care less what I look like around town, but I love to make sure to wear a rainbow of colors that are bright just like my frame!! Does that make me a bike clothes ****? (you know, like a shoe ****?)

    attachments don't work

it's disabled and it doesn't work. I've talked to the moderator/admin about this and when they upgrade the software then it will work.

have to post a URL in the meantime

Here's a link to some pictures of our tandem. The color is called Purpleen. It's a shade shifter color. The bike looks purple and geen at the same time. It's a Santana Arriva with S and S couplers.

    Talking Here are my babies!

Here's a picture of me on my mountain bike. This picture was taken last July near Bend, Oregon. I am riding on the Deschutes River Trail.

    http://www.stmcc.org/krezelak/Deschutes0004.jpg

The bike was built up by my hubby. He is quite the bike mechanic. He bought the frame and other components and built it for me. I love it. He has also built bikes for our daughter and two friends and himself.

And here's a picture of my road bike ....

    http://www.stmcc.org/krezelak/on_the_road.jpg

This is my WSD Trek 2200! My red streak .... my road bike!

    http://www.stmcc.org/krezelak/on_the_road.jpg

Here's a closer picture of red streak on the back of hubby's truck .... hard to see her as she blends into Joe's red truck!

Since this picture was taken we bought inside mounting racks for the road bikes. The mountain bikes still ride on the outside! They're tougher! LOL

    She is sweet!

goddess, the wheelset on my trek are Bontrager Selects. They have 20 spokes (10 pair) on the front wheels and 24 spokes (12 pair) on the rear wheel. They keep their true unbelievably well. I got my bike in August and they are still true. Bontrager calls it their paired spoke technology. My wheel size is 650X25c. My road bike is so much fun to ride! I love her!

How do you like your Terry Butterfly Seat? I had been searching for a replacement seat for my road bike. It came with a bontrager saddle which I do not like because of the stitching on the top of the saddle. Anyway after asking some friends and checking some online forums and doing a lot of research I finally settled with the specialized dolce saddle. It should be here next week. I want to get it broken in before my two day event in May. I hope it's more comfortable than the bontrager that's on my bike now.

Goddess I can't wait to see some pictures of your bikes!

    Wink

my butterfly seat will be making it's maiden voyage on sunday morning. i just put it on yesterday and i am hoping the weather holds so i can test it out. i have such a problem with sit bones.

i am not familiar with bontrager products, but i am seriously thinking about having a set of hand built wheels made. my wheels came stock with my bike, and they are radially laced in front(32 spoke), and radial/3spoke cross in the back. i have an aluminum frame, and with racing wheels, the ride is a bit rigid. team estrogen's proprietress ( the other susan), has given me some recommendations for where to go. (team estrogen h.q. is right down the street from me).

as for pictures of my bikes, i am not "scanner" equipped. so i am going to take some pics and hopefully have a friend scan them in.

you all were saying that pics can't go in as an attachment. that is the only way i know how to post them. how else can i do it?
