    Diadora sizing & quality?????

Anyone wearing Diadora's that can help me figure out their sizing?

Please help me by comparing to Sidi, Scott or Specialized. Any input on quality would be great also.

No LBS carries them so I have to order online and pay return shipping if they are not correct.

    Thanks!!

I didn't know Diadora made cycling shoes. I have a pair of their soccer cleats. But I doubt that helps you any.

I can't help with sizing, as I bought my Diadoras years ago (pre-Sidi and the rest), but I can say that I love them. They fit beautifully, they are comfortable and stylish, and they have lasted for years. I'm dreading the day I have to replace them.

I have an older pair of Diadora Gekos (sp?) that I like a lot (not least because I got them on sale for $19.99). I have wide feet, and for me the Diadoras are much more comfortable than the Sidis I had before. In length, they seem to run pretty true to street-shoe size. They've held up well for several years of casual riding and (gasp) walking.

I have Diadora Astros (?); they fit pretty much the same as all my other size 42 shoes, even the 42 Sidis I just got.

I've been wearing the Diadoras for a few years and have been quite happy with them. When I contemplated buying the Sidis I was concerned because I always heard that they run narrow but for me they fit pretty much the same as the Diadoras, including in the toebox and heel. The Sidis I have are designed to be worn without socks so I wasn't expecting them to fit quite like other shoes but I can go between them without really noticing any great difference in fit.

Funny, yesterday there was a woman wearing a pair of Diadoras on the ride I went on. I asked her about them, because they were so unusual looking. They looked like a pair of nice Italian shoes! She said they were hand-me-downs and quite old, which explains why they looked so different.
    Very stylish.
