Ignore thread feature is back

We've reintroduced the "ignore thread" feature.

To use this feature, while browsing a thread, click on "Thread Tools", then "Ignore This Thread".

To un-ignore a thread or see which threads you have ignored, go to "User CP", then under "Settings and Options" in the side panel, click on "Ignored Threads".

Please let me know if you have any problems with this feature or if it has introduced any bugs into the normal behavior of the forums software.

Thanks for letting us know! Presumably an 'ignored' thread means it's not listed for the reader who flagged it as ignored for themselves?

I'm the sort of person that tends to merely bypass a topic thread that I perceive the content may not be worthwhile to click open.

It's like life-- there's unpleasant/just annoying stuff out there on the 'street' but I don't need to have it removed for myself for a sanitized view. I can just choose to walk by or stop by to do something different.

TE forums has been pretty 'clean' anyway in terms of forum civility. I am grateful for this.
