I am not 100% sure I want to sell this bike, but thought I might put out feelers. Sorry, I don't have pix but can get them for anyone interested.

This is a 2004 Bianchi 44 cm Alfana with 700 cm wheels, silver in color. Note that the Alfana came with flat bars, but I had it completely rebuilt with Kestral carbon bars, 40 cm. It also has a Specialized carbon Pave seatpost, and was built up with combination 105 and Campy Centuar groupsets, 9 speed. Crank arms are 165 cm. It has a triple and wide gearing on the rear cassette, but I am not sure of the exact ratios. I had the bike built up by a very experienced builder (Steve Lubanski of Open Road Cycles in Pasadena, CA.) so the combination of 105 and Campy works well together.

The frame is aluminum with carbon forks. Saddle is Fisik CP and I will include Keo pedals. It has a Vetta wireless computer (no cadence) The bike is very light and stiff (aluminum). It is well balanced (I can ride it easily with no hands.) The bike has been riden in the Rosarita to Ensenada and Tour de Palm Springs rides, and has a scratch on the left rear chainstay. A good bike for short riders (I am 5'2'' with 29'' inseam). I can have it packed and shipped by LBS. Replacement cost probably in the range of $2,000. I'm thinking of selling in the $800. range, plus packing and shipping.

If anyone is interested, you can PM me and I will get photos for you. I would rather have a TE member have the bike than open it up to ebay.

Thanks,
